The Customer
Kiswire is a company based in South Korea.
The company primarily operates in two segments:
- Production of high-strength wires for tires and automotive components
- Production of steel ropes for ships, cranes, or construction projects
Kiswire is predominantly present in Southeast Asia but also has subsidiaries in the American and European markets.
Business Issue
The company manufactures reinforcement cables that are inserted into automotive tires. The specific product is called bead wire.
Essential needs of the customer:
- The production line includes a control panel equipped with a series of inverters that require a cooling power of approximately 8 kW
- A single air conditioner is needed, as installation is only possible on the side of the electrical cabinet
- The air conditioner must be produced in the same color, RAL6011, as the electrical panel
- The work environment has a significant amount of dust due to the processing of metal wires/ropes. Therefore, air conditioners suitable for operation in industrial environments typical of this application/sector are required.
The Solution
- Module EVE80002606000 with a power of 7500W (L35L35 condition), is installable on the side and is available in RAL 6011 color, thus meeting all the client’s requirement;
- The air conditioner was supplied in its standard version, without modifications for operation in dusty industrial environments, as Cosmotec products are designed to be installed in such environments and ensure reliable performance.
Results
The air conditioner, installed in 2004, operated continuously for 19 years despite the dirty work environment and high presence of fine dust, demonstrating exceptional longevity surpassing even the client’s expectations.
