Cosmotec’s story began in 1989 in Peschiera del Garda, born from the vision of a group of people who strongly believed in their expertise in industrial cooling and in sharing that expertise with their customers.

Shortly after the production of the first units and the start of exports worldwide, the need arose to expand the product range in order to meet all thermal management requirements. This led to the creation of the industrial refrigeration product line, a major challenge that saw Cosmotec compete alongside leading industry players while leveraging what has always been its most distinctive strength: working closely with customers to provide products and solutions capable of meeting their specific needs.

The approach adopted to meet market demands has always been lean and effective—a typical example of Italian flexibility—combined with the strength and stability of the German STULZ Group, which Cosmotec joined in 2001.
With the arrival of STULZ, the product portfolio expanded significantly, eventually encompassing telecommunications solutions and new chiller ranges with increasingly higher cooling capacities.

The speed of product innovation is growing drastically and, to keep pace with market demands, Cosmotec has decided to invest in employee training, production quality and efficiency, and product engineering. Furthermore, it is expanding its production area with new lines and a state-of-the-art climatic chamber.

Today, the company’s efforts are focused on maintaining the highest levels of efficiency and flexibility across its product ranges. To support this commitment, an “Innovation Center” has been established, enabling the development and testing of new technologies that meet the sustainability and efficiency requirements of today’s market.
