SlimIn is the range of ultra-slim air conditioners designed for external mounting, semi-recessed installation, or fully recessed installation, ideal for applications requiring a compact footprint and minimal protrusion from the electrical enclosure.

The CE and UL Listed certifications (for the R513A version only) facilitate market access, reduce customs barriers, and ensure greater reliability while saving time and costs.

Different installations for every space requirement

The challenge is rarely finding an air conditioner that can provide cooling; the real challenge is finding one that integrates seamlessly. In modern industrial applications—such as modular automated lines, machine tools, packaging systems, process plants, and machine-mounted electrical enclosures—the space around the structure is often already defined and non-negotiable.

XCB: The intelligent controller from Cosmotec

The XCB electronic controller is the technological core of Cosmotec air conditioners.
Designed by Cosmotec, XCB enables advanced unit operation management, improving efficiency, reliability, and integration within industrial systems.

Intelligent controller XCB
The board manages the compressor and fans to cool the cabinet, but also, optionally, an electric heater.
The electronic board installed in the internal compartment offers adequate protection against external agents (dust, oils, etc.) present in the environment.
With reduced power consumption through evaporator fan management
Condenser fan management if the application requires low noise levels
System redundancy capability via sequencing function and communication between two air conditioners
Removal of hot spots with the ability to manage a remote probe
Remote monitoring via RS485 serial port and Modbus RTU protocol
Presence of a changeover alarm contact (NO/NC) and a remote/open door contact

Refrigerants R1234yf and R513A: efficiency, compliance and sustainability

The use of R1234yf and R513A refrigerants, combined with high energy efficiency and the reduced refrigerant charge required, helps lower resource consumption and CO₂ emissions, making the system more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

The R1234yf refrigerant features a GWP value of 0.5, significantly lower than the limit of 150 established by Regulation (EU) 2024/573, ensuring full compliance with the latest European regulations on fluorinated gases.

For applications where specific safety requirements do not allow the use of flammable refrigerants, a version using R513A is available. It features a GWP of 631, which is below the limit of 750 established by Annex IV of the Regulation.
