Reliable
Condensate cooler (CNE)
The presence of the integrated device in the unit allows for greater safety in the workplace by eliminating water, without any electrical consumption or additional components, increasing efficiency and reliability.
Remote monitoring
They can be connected to a Modbus monitoring system for direct exchange with the air conditioner. This allows for swift identification of a potential problem, enabling quick service activation.
Sequencing
In critical applications, two Compact Protherm air conditioning units can work in redundancy, automatically alternating to balance operating hours and supporting each other in the event of an alarm or exceeding a temperature threshold.

The XCB electronic controller is the technological core of Cosmotec air conditioners.
Designed by Cosmotec, XCB enables advanced unit operation management, improving efficiency, reliability, and integration within industrial systems.
Thanks to XCB control, Protherm air conditioners are not limited to just cooling the electrical cabinet, but become an integral part of the plant management system.
Refrigerant R513A: regulatory compliance and sustainable choice
The use of R513A refrigerant gas, efficiency and the use of less refrigerant gas reduce resource usage and CO2 impact.
Among HFO refrigerants, for its air conditioners cosmotec has chosen the refrigerant R513A due to some of its distinctive characteristics.
- It does not deplete the ozone layer and is available over the medium to long term not only for manufacturing purposes but also for maintenance activities.
- It falls within safety class A1 as it is a non-flammable refrigerant and therefore does not require additional safety measures for installation in electrical enclosures and/or cabinets.
- It also offers several other outstanding properties: a significantly lower GWP value compared to R134a (R134a: GWP = 1430, R513A: GWP = 631), high energy efficiency and improved environmental sustainability.
